UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON. The Department of Construction Management at the University of Washington is seeking applications for one full-time, tenure-track position beginning in September 2010. The appointment will be made at the assistant professor level. The department offers an ACCE-accredited Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree and participates in a college-wide Ph.D. program. The department enjoys an outstanding reputation within the industry and receives strong industry support. The department is developing a research and education center that will house virtual construction and construction methods and materials laboratories. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, develop strong externally-funded research programs, publish in professional journals, and provide service to the university, the community, and the construction industry. Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in a construction-related field.
