The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is recruiting for a tenure track Assistant Professor in the Construction Management Program of the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering. The successful candidate is expected to teach in the undergraduate and graduate program, supervise graduate students, develop strong externally-funded research programs, publish in professional/scholarly journals, and provide service to the university, the community, and industry.
An earned doctorate is required in construction, architectural, civil, electrical or mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline prior to August 2010. Must have a background to teach a wide range of courses including: Scheduling, BIM, MEP Systems, Quantity Surveying, Information Technology, Sustainable Construction, Safety, Construction and Project Management, Project Delivery Methods, Structural Design and Analysis, and Lean Construction. Preference will be given to candidates with background in Scheduling and BIM.
