Job Description
AMEC's Earth & Environmental division is recruiting for a Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Regina, SK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work under the direction and supervision of other Senior Geotechnical Engineers in AMEC’s Regina office. Provide geotechnical engineering and project management for a wide variety of foundation, transportation, resource industry, land development, terrain and commercial/ industrial projects. Opportunity to collaborate with other AMEC offices/geotechnical engineering staff on projects elsewhere in Western Canadian or international locations QUALIFICATIONS:

University graduate with degree in civil (geotechnical) or geological engineering. Currently registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. 4 - 5 (or more) year’s consulting experience within Canada, practical geological/geotechnical engineering services relevant to a variety of projects (such as foundations, slope stability, transportation, civil municipal, commercial development, resource industries, utilities, building structures, etc). Strong written and oral communication (English) skills. Valid Driver’s License. Desire to provide excellent practical client service and a commitment to technical excellence. Knowledge of regional market, local terrain/geotechnical conditions and/or a master’s degree would be an asset. AMEC is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment.
