About the Position: The duty station is the Jadwin Building, 2000 Ft. Point Rd., Galveston, TX 77553. There is free parking within the gated property. The building, where the office is located, has restaurants and other eateries located within driving distance. The building has a fitness center available to employees free of charge.

To qualify, applicants must possess a bachelor's or higher degree in engineering PLUS For GS 11 level, one year of professional engineering experience equivalent to the GS-09 level; 1) reviewing cost estimates for projects; 2) review and integrate various parts of the estimates for technical sufficiency; 3) participate in developing or revising certain parts of the overall estimate. For the GS-12 level, one year of professional engineering experience equivalent to the GS-11 level; 1) reviewing cost estimates for projects; 2) review and integrate various parts of the estimates for technical sufficiency; 3) participate in developing or revising all parts into the overall estimate.
GS-11: Bachelor's degree directly related to this occupation and 1 year of experience directly related to this occupation equivalent to the next lower grade level, or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. GS-12 and above: Bachelor's degree directly related to this occupation and 1 year of experience directly related to this occupation equivalent to the next lower grade level.
