The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is excited to announce an opening for a permanent Natural Resource Specialist 4 (Lead Instream Flow Ecologist), located at our headquarters office in Salem, Oregon.
Act as the expert on water flow needs for fish and wildlife to provide the Department with direction on how to identify flow needs for fish, wildlife and their habitat. Primary duty of this position will be evaluating and providing recommendations to staff, other local, state and federal agencies and the public on the impacts of water use to fish and wildlife needs.

Qualifications: Five years’ biological experience with at least three years’ experience at a technical/professional level; AND a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries or Wildlife Science or a closely-related Bachelor's degree or three additional years of biological experience. A Master's/Doctorate degree in Fisheries/Wildlife Science or closely-related degree may substitute for some experience.
Additional Salary Information: $4765-$6977 a month depending on qualifications
