GeoEngineers, Inc., a leading national earth science and technology consulting firm, is seeking a Geotechnical Intern for our Baton Rouge, LA location this summer. GeoEngineers is an employee-owned company established in 1980 providing unparalleled client service and innovative science and engineering solutions. This opportunity is available for Summer 2013 (May/June through August/September timeframe).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assisting with monitoring field explorations and construction projects, collecting field data, performing laboratory tests and documenting work. You will also assist engineers with office and project tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.

Current enrollment in Civil Engineering Bachelor's or Master's degree program. Ability to carry out general instructions, as well as interpret and apply technical information. Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities and do heavy work including exerting up to 50 pounds of force on occasion. Valid driver's license required.
