Brown and Caldwell, a national environmental engineering firm, has a new opportunity for two student interns to provide electrical engineering support to our project managers in our Irvine, CA office. We are seeking motivated and achievement oriented individuals looking to gain practical hands-on experience outside of the classroom.

As a student intern, you will perform routine engineering support duties requiring professional training but little or no experience. You may be assigned, under close supervision, to simple engineering data analysis, data assessment, data entry and formatting and organizing information for reports. You may also perform basic CAD input or modifications, and also provide basic project support such as formatting and distributing meeting notes; project filing, field site visits, and other general support of project engineers.
Desired Skills and Experience:
To qualify for an internship, you must be enrolled in a full-time program (nine credit hours per semester) seeking a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering. You also must be in good standing and carry an overall GPA of least 3.0 in your core curriculum, as well as a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. SKM Power Tool skills preferred. Candidate must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
