Our Portland office is currently seeking a junior-level Structural Design Engineer-in-Training with experience in one or more of the following areas: buildings, bridges, marine structures, industrial structures, and/or other infrastructure work. The candidate will work on project teams that analyze and design all of the above-mentioned structure types for projects located in our region and across the globe.
Candidate will have experience preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings and calculations of structures composed of concrete, steel, or timber. Candidate duties will include analysis, design, condition assessment, and other junior-level structural engineering activities. Will work under the direction of senior structural engineers and project managers.
BSCE; MSCE preferred
EIT or PE license
2 – 6 years of progressively responsible structural design experience
Knowledge of applicable building codes, bridge codes
Strong written and verbal communication ability
Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation required, REVIT preferred
