A rapidly-growing, multi-disciplined engineering consulting company firm, seeks a Project Manager Geotechnical Engineer for a position in Miami, FL.
**This is NOT an Internship.

The Project Manager - Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for business development & client management (internal & external), writing proposals, coordinating field studies, performing geotechnical analyses and designs, writing reports, developing a staff. The Geotechnical Engineer will be a mentor to other geotechnical staff, and project-manage other engineers.
Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory analysis.
Engage in business development and client acquisition.
Provide mentorship to EITs and help to professionally develop staff engineers.
Evaluate ground conditions and understand their impact on design and construction.
Review requests for proposals (RFP’s), develop and finalize proposals, and act as division liaison with clients.
MUST HAVE Florida PE license
BS degree in Civil Engineering
MUST HAVE 8 – 12 years’ experience performing geotechnical engineering studies and related designs, observation of deep foundation construction, special inspections, etc., preferably in and around South/Central Florida.
