HX5 is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Engineering Support, Senior in support of the Agile Combat Support (ACS) program.
Experience and Knowledge: The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of and expertise in engineering and scientific principles, criteria, and procedures related to training systems acquisition, as applied within the Simulators Division to improve planned and existing AF training system sustainment. The candidate shall have familiarity and work in compliance with all internal Simulators Division engineering policy and guidance, to include Systems Engineering Plans, Operating Instructions, and Engineering Practices. This position shall support the day-to-day FMS operations within the Simulator Division. Engineering support will assist with developmental planning support in evaluation of the military mission to be accomplished and related requirements documentation; define the set of military missions to be performed and the circumstances under which the mission will be performed.
Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Education and Skills
Must have 10 years of engineering experience and a Master’s degree in engineering or a minimum of 18 years of experience and an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Will be capable of independently performing the most complicated and technical tasks relevant to the performance work statement scope for this individual task order.
Will be able to assist with the development of requirements and technology needs.
Experience developing system concepts and performing technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.
Experience with developmental planning support in evaluation of missions to be accomplished and related requirements documentation; define the set of military missions to be performed and the circumstances under which the mission will be performed.
Knowledgeable in all phases of the FMS acquisition program management life cycle requirements for FMS systems, subsystems, and equipment throughout the FMS case life cycles.
Experience in the development and evaluation of Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Systems Engineering Detail Schedule (SEDS) engineering cost estimates.
