Plan, implement and coordinate the engineering & technology for GulfCo. Perform engineering work related to plan, devise, or adapt processes and methods to improve forging, machining and operational productivity using Finite Element Analysis simulation and Computer Aided Design tools. Develop new forged products and processes to diversify GulfCo’s existing market and industry portfolio. Examine equipment, processes, and operations to determine time or quality revisions. Evaluate vendor proposals for open die and ring rolling tools and new forging equipment. Ensure quality in developing manufacturing and inspection documentation for production. Establish operational sequences and processes. Implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of forged products. Develop, design and implement fixturing required to improve operational performance. Develop best practices for forging and machining methods. Establish baseline equipment testing as it relates to preventive maintenance and long term improvement plans. Implement measures to improve uptime, equipment performance, and quality of products produced while observing all safety, health, and environmental procedures.
Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related plus 5 years of experience in Engineering Management roles and 3 years of experience in: Engineering of Ring rolled and Open die forging products; Forging tooling design; Product development including design and implementation; and Finite Element Analysis simulation.
