Wagner Property Group is a growing development firm specializing in retail real estate projects. We are seeking a Project Manager. Proven experience in conceptual plans, code research & due diligence is recommended. Candidate must hit the ground running, be a self-starter, project a positive and professional attitude, possess a strong work ethic, demonstrate superb management and organizational skills, and be able to travel or work evenings both locally and throughout the Southeast when needed. This is a full-time, salaried position.
Preparation of Concept Drawings – based upon company’s development objectives and conclusions of due diligence. Involves preparation of concept plan, including coordination with Project Manager.
Site Investigation & Due Diligence – Includes the review of ordinances, geotechnical reports, environmental reports, surveys, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
Project reviews – Review of municipal zoning and land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for the property.
Attending and potentially presenting at City Council/PD/HOA meetings and public hearings.
Knowledge of storm water management design regulations should include County, SCD and governing municipality.
General knowledge of Architectural Guidelines, Grading Design, Utility Systems Design, Erosion & Sediment Control Design
Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates – based upon site & building plan drawings
Project Coordination – Includes conferring with client, attorney, and Project Manager for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive site plan.
Preparation of written correspondence - Outside agencies, client, attorney, contractor, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE):
Commercial site design and permitting experience with a land development, civil engineering, or architectural firm.
Effective written and communication skills
Proficient with AutoCAD
Knowledge of the planning and zoning process
Self-starter who can work independently and with team members
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals a plus
Able to accept feedback with a willingness to learn on an on-going basis
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
