We are currently seeking a highly motivated and innovative engineer to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will support our clients on a diverse range of water resource related tasks including hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for storm water related projects, engineering design of storm water projects, green infrastructure and storm water best management practice, integrated storm water master planning projects, and active transportation projects. Work may also include construction management and inspection, grant writing and administration, and water and wastewater design. The selected candidate must be self-motivated and ambitious, possessing excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering with 1 to 5 years of civil engineering experience OR a master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering with 0 to 5 years of civil engineering experience. Experience with modeling (including HEC-RAS and SWMM), planning, and design (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) of storm water related projects is highly desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare project reports, summarize engineering and model analyses, and prepare successful grant applications in concise and understandable language is desired. An EIT certificate is required; a licensed PE in the State of California is strongly desired OR eligibility to obtain a license within 12 months.
