Harriman, one of New England’s most established and creative architecture and engineering firms is currently advertising for a experienced Mechanical Engineer P.E. This position requires a registered Mechanical engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience designing for education, commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects.
In addition to these basic position requirements, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate mentoring and leadership qualities, possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have computer and software proficiency commensurate with the advertised position. Additionally, design, project management and business development skills would be considered highly advantageous to the successful candidate.
Harriman has regional offices located in Auburn and Portland Maine, Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Boston, Massachusetts, and the successful candidate may be required to work out of one or more offices on occasion
This position can be located in any of Harriman's offices.

Registered mechanical engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience in the design of HVAC systems for retail, educational, commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities. Primary projects in the New England area. Strong working knowledge of project management, local & state building and life safety codes, construction documents, specifications and ability to produce bid documents on CADD.
Applicants must possess a degree from a 4-year accredited engineering college. An EIT certificate, AutoCAD and Revit proficient.
