This a full-time PWGC staff position dedicated to our client, the NYC School Construction Authority(SCA), at their location in Queens, NY.
The following is not intended to be a complete list of duties.
Strong ability to set up testing programs, identify potential issues causing water quality problems and recommend a course of action.
A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience working on projects with various water quality issues (such as discoloration, presence of contaminants, etc.)
Must have led investigations and identified protocols and solutions to address these issues.
Strong knowledge of plumbing system layouts.
Manage projects with SCA's external consultants and work collaboratively with PWGC staff.
BS in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; PE not required.
Knowledge of drinking water, distribution systems and water quality issues a must.
A minimum of 5 years experience.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision/direction.
