Field Office Engineer
Working at a full srvc. construction firm, will review all drawings & specs ensuring they properly relate to the estimate; will be resp for payment applics, project schedule (creation of baseline, mthly updates, tracing of project issues), change orders (generate & review proposals, impacts to overall CPM, negotiate w/ CM/Owner), document controls (oversee creation & maintenance of drawing logs, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes), & qlty control (field check work, coord subcontractor work, preconstruction meetings for field work); MEP coord'n; coord all trades on a master coord'n set of drawings securing approval of architects & engrs; ensure materials & eqpmt released for fabrication to conform to project schedule; manage project closeout, secure guarantees, warranties req'd for acceptance & handover of all contractual items of work; & maintain EEO compliances. Master's deg. in Civil Engg, & 24 mths exp in position offrd or as Civil Engineer or Civil Engg Mgr. M-F 7am-3:30pm. Worksites: 215 State Hwy 17 South, Wood Ridge, NJ 07075 & Passaic, NJ.
