Spartanburg County Asphalt Program Project Manager

Spartanburg County currently maintains an infrastructure network that includes over 1,700 centerline miles of paved roadways.  The Asphalt Program Project Manager is under general supervision and performs professional work associated with the planning, prioritization, budgeting, design, permitting and construction of the county’s asphalt roadway network.  Project/work examples include asphalt resurfacing, pavement preservation, roadway full-depth reclamation, roadway widening, storm water drainage improvements, automated condition assessments of the roadway network, and some geographic information system mapping (GIS) as it relates to the roadway inventory.  Is also directly responsible for the supervision of two Engineering Technicians.
