Senior Engineer Manager - Engineer 5

This is the fifth of five levels in the Engineering Series

This position will develop, review, and approve engineering plans, studies, site plans, and projects for both County and State funded and private developments, and supervise lower level engineering, engineering support, inspection, traffic control, construction, and GIS staff. Responsibilities may include designing, reviewing, and approving engineering and/or construction plans; determining and approving plan changes; resolving system design issues; researching and approving contractor plans and payments; researching and correcting system map information; monitoring departmental and capital project budgets; providing work direction and training to subordinates; and performing the duties of the lower levels.
