JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs difficult advanced technical work planning, coordinating, supervising and participating in the design, construction management and inspection of subdivisions, commercial properties, and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects, ensuring compliance with governmental agencies, preparing engineering communications, reports, and presentations, maintaining files and records, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant City Engineer. Provides work direction and general guidance to assigned personnel within the division.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree with coursework in civil engineering or related field and extensive experience in civil engineering work, including considerable supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
