The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is seeking professionals to work as an Associate Power Engineer in the Transmission and Distribution Electric Capital Projects Division and in the SCADA/Automation or System Protection Divisions.
 
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of two (2) years of responsible professional electrical engineering experience supplemented by a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in electrical engineering or a related field.  An Engineer-In-Training certificate is required.
 
Associate Power Engineer in the Transmission and Distribution Electric Capital Projects Division:   This position will be required to perform a variety of professional electrical engineering duties and responsibilities related to the planning, design, systems analysis, and project management of electrical utility transmission and distribution overhead and underground systems, and to provide technical assistance to higher level engineering staff.
 
Ideal Candidates must possess experience in the planning, design, and implementation of electric capital improvement projects, and fully understand the engineering, administration, and construction requirements of transmission and distribution systems.
 
Associate Power Engineer in the SCADA/Automation or System Protection Division:   
Ideal candidates must possess experience in performing a variety of professional electrical engineering duties and responsibilities related to the planning, design and systems analysis of assigned engineering projects, including system automation, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and/or electric System Protection.
