Senior Engineer Geotechnical

Key Responsibilities
·Lead the technical delivery of geotechnical engineering services
·Design delivery. Prepare calculations, drawings and other documents
·Contribute to fee budgets, proposals and resource requirements for projects
·Deliver multiple projects within budget and to program
·Contribute and lead growth of geotechnical team
·Contribute to build client relationships and help identify business opportunities

·Able to work within Infrastructure and Building sectors. Flexibility is key
Key Requirements
·Be a technically excellent engineer, with established skills and delivery capability
·The ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative and operate in a pro-active way
·Good organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
·Building an external network of clients and sub consultants

Qualification
·Chartered Engineer/Near Chartered with MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering or similar
Key Technical Experience (mandatory ability to work independently)
·Desktop studies
·Preparation SI specs, Factual Reports interpretation, Geotechnical Design Report preparation
·Slope stability
·Retaining systems
·Foundations systems
·Utilities protection
·Cranes, piling platforms, mats etc..
·Temporary Works experience

Desirable Technical Experience
·Environmental (ie. Experience in SuDS, Contamination)
·Drainage systems
·Familiar with STATs/LAs/Gov Agencies processes and experience in delivering project (i.e. utilities diversion and/or protection)
