Geo-Environmental Engineer- Cardiff

Our client has presented an exceptional opportunity to join an ever-expanding Environmental Consultancy who operate across multiple disciplines. The role is for a Geo-Environmental Engineer with experience in the field to manage site investigation works, liaise with clients and ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times. The successful candidate will participate in exciting projects across the UK with excellent career development prospects. The candidate will have at least one year's experience in the field with the relevant academic background.
Key Skills and Experience required:
Degree in Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geology, or another relevant subject
Master's degree in the relevant field
Site Investigation experience
Soil and rock logging experience
Knowledge of remediation strategies (Desirable)
Capable of producing written reports to highest standard, presenting technical information clearly and concisely
Experience in compliance with CDM regulations
Works well with others in a team environment and possesses strong communication skills.
Strong focus on site Health and Safety regulations.
Full and Clean UK driving licenceTypical Duties in this role:
Manage site investigation works, dealing with suppliers and preparing Health and Safety documentation
Log soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2020
Undertake groundwater and ground gas sampling and monitoring
Provide liaison with stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues
Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company's policies and procedures
Ensure all Health and Environmental standards are adhered to
A degree of driving is expected in this roleThis role offers a competitive salary with regular training and career development as well as other benefits.
