An exceptional opportunity has presented itself for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join one of the largest independent Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Specialists in the UK. The company pride themselves on their breadth of experience and the variation of projects that they work on. The role is for an individual who wants to contribute to exciting projects across the United Kingdom in developments such as high-rise buildings, brownfield regeneration sites, bridges, railways, and energy networks. The individual will be motivated, solution focused and highly skilled within the field, with the want to develop their knowledge further.

Key Skills and Experience required:

Relevant degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, or within the relevant field
Postgraduate degree in Contaminated Land, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or similar (Desirable)
Knowledge of Land Contamination within the UK with regards to development planning, due diligence, environmental permitting, etc. (Desirable)
Knowledge of CDM Regulations, Risk Assessment, Health and Safety requirements
Strong communication skills
Report writing experience
A full UK driving licenceTypical Duties in this role:

Participating in every aspect of Ground Investigation
Collating data, preparing factual and interpretative desk studies and Ground Investigation reports
Site work, including Geotechnical testing, Groundwater sampling, Soil logging and Gas Monitoring
Supervising site work
Ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are met and adhered to
Ensuring all work is delivered in line with the company processes and procedures
