Excellent opportunity to join a growing Consultancies civil engineering design team, focusing on the new build housing developers.

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic

Role:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with this UK consultancy that offers a number of different Civil Engineering design solutions. This particular role is based in the Birmingham office within the Residential team, focusing with their core clients that include 80% of the top 20 housing developers in the UK.

You will be an integral part of the team in delivering projects and solutions for clients using your expertise in the design of all civil engineering elements of residential development. From the land clearance, drainage, flood prevention, Road lay outs, paving and green space as part of the larger new build developments.

This role involves many aspects including:

Undertake detailed design of all civil engineering elements on residential schemes, ensure those designs are fully value engineered, suitable for adoption and most importantly to the clients brief and expectations.
Assist with leading and developing a team of engineers within the engineering department
Development of new project schemes working with the leadership team but being developed to look after all the design aspects of the project.
designing roads or drainage or utilities or sewers lay outs, communicating at all levels and engage successfully with clients and local authorities.
Ideally knowledge of DMRB standards, and highway and drainage agreement processes with highway and sewerage authorities.
Build and develop good client relationshipsThis is a hybrid role with 2-3 days working in Central Birmingham near Birmingham new street station and 2-3 days working from home.

Qualifications:-

Minimum of a HNC or HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Worked in a Design capacity on New Build developments be it drainage, roads, utilities etc…
Be proficient in use of AutoCAD or Windes and PDS or XP Site 3DTo Apply:
