Overview

2Fawcett are recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a business based in Birmingham on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a few years comercial experience and be looking to further their career.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Civil Engineer

• Production of drainage appraisals and designs from concept to detailed design, including the production of S104 drawings
• Flood Risk Assessments to NPPF
• Cut and Fill and External Level design.
• Attending meetings and representing the company
• Drafting of NBS Specifications
• Highway Design to Adoptable Standards, including the completion of S38 and S278 drawings
• Competent in the use of Microdrainage, PDS and AutoCAD
• Managing own projects and producing own designs
• Financial control of the design process and managing staff

Requirements of the Civil Engineer

• Chartered or near-chartered Civil Engineer
• Happy to travel
• Able to work as part of a team
• Must have a full UK driving licence
• A couple of years previous experience
• Be up to date with current British Regulations
