MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR - c£70k + GENEROUS PACKAGE - FLEXIBLE WORKING

My client is currently working on a £5m civils scheme including earthworks, infrastructure, drainage, FRC and general civils up to DPC. They have just been awarded a second phase of work worth a further £8m and a third phase of work on the same project is coming out to tender mid 2022.

This means there will be up to three schemes running simultaneously totaling around the £20m mark that requires a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor/Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee the initial two (and then hopefully 3) phases of work in various stages of development utilising a bespoke FIDIC form of contract.

There is a Commercial Manager looking after the client relations on site so this role is very much hands on dealing with the contracts both up and down stream, managing change, managing intermediate Quantity Surveyors acrosseach phase and ensuring all subcontracts are being managed effectively.

The site is in East Riding however this role has flexible working available. They would ideally like this role to include a visit to site once a week but after that you could work from home, from one of their offices or from wherever may suit you.

The company are privately owned and turnover around £500m per annum. Traditionally from the South, they have secured a number of northern frameworks with local authorities, renewable power companies and National Highways so this could lead to extensive career development opportunities for anyone who wishes to push forwards from here.

The package includes a salary of between £70k to £75k, car allowance/company car, pension, private healthcare, generous holidays and private pension.
