A unique opportunity has come available for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Project Manager) in the Portsmouth area. You will have the chance to join a well-respected nationwide consultancy to help deliver a range of ground investigation frameworks for the Environmental Agency. This role offers the chance to build and develop a GI consultancy team.

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (project manager), your role will involve managing multiple large-scale Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental ground Investigation projects from inception through to completion.

You will be heading up the ground investigation team in Portsmouth delivering a wide range of projects throughout the south of the UK. It will be expected that you can comfortably manage all types of GI techniques, collect reliable results and follow through with all relative reports.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (project manager) specification:

• Degree in Geology or Environmental Science whilst obtaining a relevant MSc.
• At least 7 years' experience within Engineering Geology / Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Ground Investigations.
• Exceptional within the coordination, management and delivery of site investigation projects
• Proficient within delivering Geotechnical interpretive reports
• Proficient within Preparation and delivery of construction phase plans, incorporating RAMS as well as Preparation and delivery of environmental management plans;
