Excellent opportunity to join a Consultancies civil engineering design team, focusing on supporting new build housing developments whilst being mentored by senior members of the team.

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 basic (Depending on experience)

Role:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with this UK consultancy that offers a number of different Civil Engineering design solutions. This particular role is based in the Birmingham office within the Residential team, focusing with their core clients that include 80% of the top 20 housing developers in the UK.

Offering the mentorship of experienced Civil engineers as you work across a diverse range of projects with Blue-Chip residential developers. This consultancy has a graduate programme in place that allows you to continue your career development, progressing your career in to becoming a Chartered Engineer.

As an Assistant Civil Engineer, you will be involved with a range of projects and will undertake detailed design of all civil engineering elements on residential and mixed-use developments. Day to day duties will change but could consist of:

• Supporting the Principal / Associate & Senior Engineers in the technical delivery of projects.
• Attending and contributing to project / client meetings and undertaking site inspections as required.
• Completing designs based on guidance from Line Manager, applying sound technical knowledge relevant to the role.
• Perform your duties using AutoCAD, Windes and PDS or XP Site 3D

This is a hybrid role with 3 days working in Central Birmingham near Birmingham new street station and 2 days working from home. At first you will be more office based while you learn the role and gain experience from the team around you.

Qualificatons: -

• Minimum of a HNC or HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Be proficient in use of AutoCAD or Windes or PDS or XP Site 3D
• Some Design experience be it a placement year or prior / post degree
