One Recruitment are looking to speak with Fibre Optics Project/Contracts Managers for a role within the Glasgow area. My client are looking to expand there ever growing team again, due to winning a large contract with one of the U.k's leading providers of high speed broadband.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to be part of the roll-out of Fibre Optics for a exponentially growing business, offering an autonomous role, training, career prospects and a great annual salary with benefits.

The company has partnered with one of the industry's biggest names to deliver high speed broadband across Scotland. The ambitions of the business have been continuously achieved through the recruitment of like-minded individuals to help them achieve great things. This has made them highly skilled in working and delivering the most intricate engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Project Manager in delivering Fibre networks.
Duties for the role involve - :
Overall management and supervision of a number of digging, Cabling, Splicing, OH & UG resource to deliver telecommunications networks.
Ensuring that all site works meet the quality specification required.
Responsible for engaging and liaising with local authorities and the internal noticing team on build and regulatory compliance.
Ensuring compliance with NRSWA at all times.
Supervision of day to day project delivery within geographical area, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement.
Communicate and co-operate with all internal departments to ensure key performance indicators are met.
Create and communicate reports as required by the client and manage the timescales of the project.
Work Experience Requirements - :
10 or more years experience in the construction industry and capable of managing contracts
Ground works experience
Experience of liaising with client and roads authorities
Education Requirements - :
New Roads and Streetworks Supervisor Qualification
SVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision.
CSCS Card
IT literate
Excellent Communication Skills
Salary - £39,000+ Dependant on the level of experience.
