Civil Design Engineer
MediaCity, Salford, Greater Manchester
£30,000 - £38,000
A major multi-disciplinary market-leading and global provider of consulting and engineering service are looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer based in Salford in the Greater Manchester area to work on some of the largest projects right now, both in the UK market and across the world.
Having had incredible growth during 2021 including the acquisition of a number of consultancies in the Civil and Structural and M&E sectors, they are looking to recruit a real hands-on and technically astute Civil Design Engineer for their Salford MediaCity office.
The Salford team work together with the Leeds office which is their Northern HQ and they are looking for more boots on the ground to increase their North West presence. The right candidate will have experience across a range of sectors and Defence experience and security clearance will be favoured very highly.
The right candidate will need good software experience, largely some good experience on AutoCAD Civil 3D and some Microdrainage. However, the team already have great capability on Microdrainage and so Civil 3D will be the preferred software of choice for any aspiring candidates.
The company is described on PayScale via Google as '.. a great place for mid and senior level engineers with a lot of opportunity to work with a variety of clients on every type of project you can imagine. There is very little red tape and the minimum required amount of supervision. ... Highly motivated people will enjoy a career with them'.
Salaries will vary dependent on experience but a mid-level engineer can expect anywhere from £30,000 - £38,000 and Senior engineers upwards of £40,000 as a base salary. A full benefits package is included on top and Principal engineers and above can also expect a car allowance or company car if required.
Flexible-working in encouraged and remote working allowed, however the team is a very social one and their Leeds HQ boasts a games area including table tennis etc.
