Job Summary:

My client is a leading Environmental and Engineering Consulting company who are looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join the Environmental and Engineering team due to a workload increase and increased client offering.

You will be a technical lead and providing the team with your Geotechnical expertise on the geotechnical aspects of projects.

This role would suit someone who doesn't want line management/team responsibilities and instead likes to focus on the technical work. You will however provide guidance through some mentoring, upskilling and checking of reports.

You will be joining a client that places an emphasis on training and developing your skillset and encouraging CPD. They also place an emphasis on a friendly collaborative team culture so that you enjoy your time at work!

Requirements:

• BSc Geology / MSc Engineering Geology, MSc Geotechnical Engineering or similar
• 8+ years experience
• Chartership

• BSc/MSc in a relevant subject as above
• Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and independent thinker with an enthusiastic approach to work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Interpretive Geotechnical Skillset

• Project Management
• Client Liaison and Commercial
• Technical Reporting - Interpretive Geotechnical
• Mentoring/Upskilling juniors
