Conservation Structural Engineer

SALARY UP TO £45,000 + BENEFTIS
Our client is a successful, well-established, medium sized, Civil and Structural Consultancy which are actively seeking Structural Engineers with a strong interest in Building Conservation to join a busy York built heritage and refurbishment team. You will be working on Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments as well as non-designated heritage assets across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
Potential recruits must have several years of experience on working on building structures ventures and be at Chartered or near-Chartered status. The role requires excellent analytical and report-writing skills, and a willingness to survey structures at height and within derelict buildings with appropriate risk mitigation. You will also need strong communication skills and be comfortable with meeting clients and construction professionals. Self-motivation, a methodical approach and an enthusiasm for this sector are all essential.
