Environmental Engineer
About:
Our client is looking to recruit an Environmental Engineer to be based from their Bristol or Sheffield office, but will include working on their wide range of live remediation projects located at sites across the UK (including periods staying away from home). The role shall provide exciting opportunities working for one of the largest and most respected technically qualified remediation contractors in the UK on some of the industrys most challenging remediation projects.
The successful candidate:
-Degree qualification in a relevant subject (and ideally an MSc).
-Two years + experience with a remediation contractor or environmental consultant would be desirable.
Other key attributes:
-Good understanding of specific soil and groundwater remediation technologies
-Experience in environmental monitoring
-Site investigation (trial pitting, drilling supervision, logging etc)
-Collating data and writing technical reports.
Good communication skills are essential as the role shall typically involve liaising with a wide range of project stakeholders.
