A Senior or Associate Geotechnical Engineer is required to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with multiple offices across the UK. Working out of their Bristol office you will join a team currently working on a wide range of sectors including commercial, infrastructure, residential, defence, education and more. Tasked with developing the company's geotechnical services to their clients, you will work on a variety of engineering projects providing leadership and management to the teams. Responsible for technical review or preparation of geotechnical reports, the role will also involve site visits and inspections associated with geotechnical works. As an Associate you will also utilise your technical and commercial knowledge to prepare bids for projects and develop the company's client base.

As the Senior or Associate Engineer you will be educated to a degree level in Geology / Civil Engineering or a related discipline. You will hold an MEng or MSc (or equivalent) in Geotechnical Engineering / Civil Engineering or a related discipline as well as hold, or soon approaching, a chartered status with ICE or Geological Society (or similar organisation). With previous significant experience of working on geotechnical engineering projects, you will have the knowledge of geotechnical design and evaluation software such as Slope-W, Wallap, the Oasys suite of geotechnical software and Plaxis, as well as experience of British ground investigation techniques and construction methods, and relevant Codes. You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with problem-solving capabilities and ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation.
