Senior Manager - Survey & Construction

$6479 - $8506 per month(DOQ), plus benefits

There is one opening with the Yakima County Road Department. This position is responsible for managing the Division’s work by developing and implementing strategies; prioritizing, assigning and monitoring work, providing professional level advice and direction, and evaluating work performance of employees. Education and Experience:  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying and six years of progressively responsible Civil Engineering and/or Land Surveying experience in the areas of construction or construction management, including three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Required: Possession of a valid Washington State driver’s license is required at time of appointment. Registration as a Professional Engineer or Land Surveyor in the State of Washington at time of appointment.
