Thermal Energy Plant Maintenance Engineer

Allstaff Office & Professional Services Division have partnered with our reputable Manufacturing client based in Bridge of Weir who are looking for aThermal Energy Plant (TEP) Maintenance Engineeron a full-time, permanent basis.The principle purpose of the role is to ensure that the TEP and the Fat Plant operate continuously within the limits of the air and water discharge consent at all times

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, and will be responsible for organising the process and machinery of the Thermal Energy Plant. In addition, they will ensure that the Fat Plant operations are operated effectively.

Key areas of the role will surround:

• Run the day to day operations of the Thermal Plant, carrying out all scheduled maintenance and reactive maintenance operations
• Anticipate the process requirements of the Thermal Plant & fat plant and ensure that filter cake reaches the plant in a timely manner
• Perform daily reporting on the performance of the plant, raising any issues with the Supervisor
• Assist the Fat Plant Operator to make sure that the plant operates continuously
• Monitor transport activities for waste products and tallow despatches

The shift pattern for this role is 4 day son, 4 days off with 12 hour shifts (including day and night shift) - overtime rate will also be available. If you meet the above criteria and are keen to discuss further, please submit your CV at your earliest convenience.
