CAD Designer/ Engineer (Roofing and Cladding / Construction)

£40,000 - £50,000 + Autonomy + Flexitime
Are you a CAD Engineer with AutoCAD experience looking for an opportunity to work with a leading design consultancy who work on some of the largest and most exciting construction projects across the UK ?
This is the opportunity where you will get to manage roofing and cladding projects from cradle to grave. This well established and specialist design company dominate their industry and will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of high-end infrastructures projects from stadiums, schools and hospitals costing millions of pounds.
This role will require you will prepare 2D and 3D models and drawings using either AutoCAD or Revit where you will work on roofing and cladding projects. You will work closely with customers/ clients to understand specifications.
This is a varied role where you will work on high profile projects across the retail and commercial sectors giving you the opportunity to lead a team to complete projects.
The Role:
* Producing 2D and 3D drawings/models for use by the construction team and client approval
* Office based with flexitime
* Working with Clients, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers
The Candidate:
* Strong AutoCAD or Revit skills
* 2D/3D CAD work experience
* A base knowledge of BIM Protocol (ISO19650)
* Experience in the construction industry preferably roofing
