Responsabilities

Our client, an major energy firm, based in Bristol are looking to add a Civil Engineer to the team. Regardless if you are anexperienced Engineer or graduate with only 1 years experience, we want to hear from you.

The key tasks required in the role will be to:

• 1.Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data.
• 2.Produces deliverables for which they are responsible (design hypotheses, methodology and assumption notes; technical specifications; calculation notes).
• 3.Coordinate the work of CAD Designers.
• 4.Perform technical verifications of civil engineering design notes, models and drawings.
• 5.Contribute to the surveillance of the anchorages designed by the equipment suppliers.
• 6.Contribute to CDM reviews, create and maintain the Design Risk Register.
• 7.Load evolution tracking and civil design margin management
• 8.Liaise with site based engineering teams to facilitate the construction.
• 9.Liaise with subject matter experts.

You have or you are on the way to get a Degree in Civil Engineering.

To be on success, you will need the knowledge and/or experience of civil engineering design contracts in the nuclear sector or other heavily regulated industry (such as oil & gas, rail,...)

Finally, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.
