Design Engineer - Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.
Join a well-respected, leading business in the region, with a strong portfolio of educational, retail, commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, energy, and civil engineering projects across East Anglia.
Due to continued expansion and a secure workload for 2022, their multi-disciplinary team has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer looking for a design, and project management role. With an HNC or degree in civil engineering, you will enjoy taking on a variety of work, regular site visits and hands on design duties.
You will be joining a successful business working on a diverse range of award-winning projects, framework contracts and unique new builds and engineering schemes. From pre-contract appraisal, detailed design, and project coordination during construction and delivery. You'll provide design support at all stages to project completion.
You'll work closely with external teams and other stakeholders, including Architects and Surveyors. You will ensure designs are compliant with both specification and project costs and be regularly on site to report on design compliance and reports. Experience with statutory authority design codes for highways and environment agency requirements, section agreements, building regulations and Microdrainage or similar.
