Structural Engineer

Hunt 4 Technical have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a successful Tewkesbury based multi-disciplinary consultancy. This independently owned engineering consultancy has grown steadily to a team of around 30 professionals and deliver diverse projects in a range of sectors.

The successful Structural Engineer can expect to work on projects such as commercial developments, industrial developments, mixed-use residential and more. There will be a varied workload on offer and the opportunity to fill any knowledge or skill gaps.

There is an ICE mentor within the business and the company will be on hand to support the successful Structural Engineer with achieving their chartered status.

As the Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include;

• You will be working on a large scope of projects and have the responsibility of delivering from inception and feasibility, through to construction on site.

• You will have strong knowledge of structural design and structural analysis software.

• Experience of working with and designing with a variety of building materials; concrete, steel, masonry and timber.

• Ability to work and analyse in both 2D & 3D.

• Be capable of reviewing designs produced by other members of staff.

• Communicate and work well as part of a team and independently.

As well as offering support to junior members of staff. Ideally, you will be qualified with MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering and passionate about becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer. The successful Structural Engineer will have strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills.
