We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our teams working at our client's facility specialized in Renewable Energy in Stafford, UK.

A 12 month work contract.

Responsibility:

 Oversees engineering activities of the project, considering the quality/Cost/ time delivery

criteria.

 Plans overall design activities, manages project design budget, implements design change

process,

 Supervises and coordinates all engineering activities required to execute the project, whether

done in house or by suppliers/subcontractors, and ensures technical coordination of the Grid

Solutions

 project. He warrants that optimized technical solutions (cost effective solution, ease of

installation and operation of the systems) in line with Customer expectation are implemented

by project engineering team and Partners, and that documentation are delivered as per project

general time schedule.

 Project Engineer is accountable for the proper performance of design in matter of time spent,

 deadlines, and quality. His field of intervention is linked to project strategy defined by Project

Manager

 Scope of work & time schedule

 Responsible for issuing consolidation of provisional drawing list of the project or of his/her work

 package, integrating submission dates

 Manage global time schedule of concerned engineering activities, check coherency of links

between engineering activities and other project functions activities (procurement,

construction, commissioning) and organize follow up of critical activities of the project or of

his/her discipline.

 Plan and manage delivery time of technical interfaces with his/her work package, put in place

exchange interface sheets with partners, customer and third-party contractors

 Project strategy & risk management

Qualification:

 Engineering degree level or equivalent education

 5+ years of Engineering activities as lead engineer in EPC type environment in T&D, Power Gen

or Oil&Gas industry

 Exposure to several of the applicable engineering disciplines for the business scope considered

Successful experience in project technical management in a multi-disciplinary team's context

including multiple interfaces and with products coming from several countries

• Experience of team building as lead engineer

• Skilled at Influencing and relationship building

• Experience in technical problem solving

• General Knowledge of GRID Solutions factories and products through FAT, site visits

• Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution industry

• Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel

worldwide.

• Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex

messages

• Demonstrates ownership & accountability, judgment and decision making, influences &

inspires team, creates a vision and strategy, and has passion for the role

• Fluent in English
