Structural Engineer

Our client is a Civil and Structural engineering consultancy with offices based in Derby, Leicester, Warwick and Milton Keynes. They were established in 1975 and have experienced year on year growth ever since. They pride themselves on being a considerate, flexible employer, dedicated to providing a friendly, supportive environment for all staff to develop their skills and are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Structural Engineer with 6+ years of post-graduate experience. You will also be confident and have a proactive approach to developing new business. Ability to work autonomously without the need for any supervision, you have awareness of design using a wide range of materials, you will have experience of projects and potential development opportunities, good technical knowledge with the ability to confidently deliver information both in writing and supporting verbally as well as the ability to develop, supervise and manage junior staff and produce structural reports.

You will need to have experience using MS Office, Tekla Tedds, Analysis Software, Hand Calculations, Revit, SCIA, CADS 3d Max, Autocad. You will be working with a wide range of materials on variety of projects including new build, residential education, religious, industrial, commercial conversion, extension and alteration, Heritage & Conservation and support of specialist sub-contractors.
