Graduate Structural Engineer

Our client is one of the market leaders in the design and utilisation of products that are used in major building projects. They are currently looking for a graduate structural or graduate civil engineer to join their design team based in Derbyshire.

The team covers research and development of new products, specification of existing product range in large building projects as well as the design of bespoke systems for nonstandard applications.

The role will give you the opportunity to work at all stages of a project from initial specification and support of the estimation teams, through to the hands on design of the structural products that will be utilised in building project, if you are designing a bespoke product then you will also be involved in the manufacturing process as well, then finally you will be creating the general arrangement drawings that will be utilised by the contractors site team.

This role would suit a fresh graduate or a graduate with a couple of years design experience who is interested in a varied and interesting role. You will be given full training on the design process and the products the company manufacture and specify and will get to work on a large range of significant architecturally design building projects.
