Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Site Engineer to work for a successful, regional civil engineering contractor based in East Yorkshire / Humberside.
The contractor are a family-run business with a stable workforce of long-standing staff, many of whom have been promoted from a similar level to this role over the years. Example Projects: road construction, s278 works, drainage & deep drainage, flood defences, public realm/streetworks etc. Project values: £500k to £5m.
All projects are within Yorkshire and North Lincs - NO WORKING AWAY!
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Setting out - using various kit.
* Delivering as-builts and topographical surveys.
* QA.
* Deal with permits and documentation for site.
Experience required:
* Must have experience working as Site Engineer on civil engineering / infrastructure projects.
* Must be competent with relevant kit: Total Station, Leica, CAD etc.
* Industry related qualification beneficial (HNC/HNC or degree etc.).
* Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.
Remuneration:
A salary of up to £40,000 (dependant upon experience) plus company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave, pension scheme and other benefits.
