An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Civil Design Engineer to join this dynamic and developing consultancy. They have a great team environment and they nurture and develop their employees, so they can continuously develop their skills.
This role would suit an ambitious and evolving Civil Design Engineer who is open to bringing new ideas & technologies and someone that is hungry for success.
Responsibilities:

Your role will be focused on the design and project management of a number of large scale infrastructure projects.
*
Prepares design elements and design plans for highway/road and utility/drainage design using MX or Microdrainage or Civil 3D
*
You will be managing the projects from start to finish and you will be working within a multi-disciplinary group of professionals.
*
You will have access to their network of professionals to ensure that the projects are produced to the highest possible standard.
*
Your role will involve full design and co-ordination of design working on major developments and will require creativity and imagination, to ensure that all projects exceed the expectation of the client.
*
High level of client service and focus is essential and regular client briefings is very much part of the role.
*
Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
Requirements:
*
A minimum of 5 + years relevant experience in a design environment
*
A recognised Bachelor of Engineering Degree (FETAC Level 8)
*
Be progressing toward Chartership Status
*
Be proficient in the use of MX Roads or Microdrainage or AutoDesk Civil 3D or equivalent
*
Experience designing roads with first-hand knowledge of DMRB and the NRA Manual of Contract Documents for Road Works.
*
The ability to communicate design intent and philosophy to allied team members and non-technical interested parties.
*
Excellent communication skills with English as a first language is essential.
*
Excellent focus on client service is essential.
*
Desire to be the best in your field and prepared to be professionally challenged.
