Senior Structural Engineer

My client is an established Civil and Structural firm with various offices around England. They are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer, ideally one with chartership or membership to the IStructE.
This is a rare opportunity for a driven Engineer with management and leadership skills to join an Engineering team in a rural location just outside Milton Keynes, ideal for anyone wanting to get away from big city life.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous management experience, as the company are looking for someone who has the ability and charisma to build a team as they see fit. The training and mentoring of junior members of staff will be a big part of the role. However, you will also be required to carry out your job as an engineer at the same time.
You should be experienced with multi-disciplinary consultancy detailed design work on complex engineering projects in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors both for new build and modification. Design skills in a wide range of materials which must include a good design knowledge of concrete, masonry, and steel.
You will be experienced in the cost-effective and efficient management of multiple projects and be successful in delegation. Responsible to produce clear, concise, and accurate professional reports, documentation, and correspondence for both construction professionals and domestic clients.
