Senior Structural Engineer

Brentwood, Essex

PERI is seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer with experience in leading the static perspective of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate should have both an in-depth knowledge in static analysis and in PERI products and extensive Rstab experience and structural problem simulation are desirable.

The role of Senior Structural Engineer is one which is a key Technical role, being responsible for the Static Department of the Special Solution Team, providing full static support on the structural issues of advanced and special solutions in climbing, infrastructure, shoring, scaffolding and any other projects requiring a static proof or documentation.

Key Duties

* Assist the Special Solution Team and or/National Engineering Manager in maintaining/producing high design standards / Static Calculations for special and advanced solutions and/or product development

* Lead the static aspects of complex projects and deal with the interface between the Project Engineers, the Senior Designers, and the customers when necessary

* Support in terms of statics, tender development, and delivery

* Assist in investigating the static aspects of incidents, near miss or accidents

* Deal with complex site issues or safety critical items

* Supervising the Static Department work execution/ Reporting on project status

* Design in accordance with Standards for steel products

What you'll need


* Bachelor or master's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with proven static experience in formwork, falsework, shoring and scaffolding

* Has good knowledge of international codes and standards

* Advanced knowledge of and experience with Structural Analysis Software
