Structural Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected design consultancy known for delivering quality-focused, expert engineering services to its clients. In an ever more competitive market, they enjoy regular repeat work from loyal, long term clients and have a sustainable growth plan for 2022 which includes the addition of a Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Glasgow.

As Structural Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop and test your skills in a range of sectors including education, healthcare, residential, retail and commercial building.

You will take a lead role in delivering engineering consultancy services to clients, assisting them in developing their brief, developing design solutions and producing technical specifications. You will also, wherever possible, aim to support carbon reduction efforts in developing sustainable building designs.

What do you need to apply?

• Degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience within a similar role
• Excellent communication skills due to the high level of client interaction and report writing
• Experience in analysis & design of building structures
