ASSOCIATE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
OCSC have an immediate requirement for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer in our Belfast office with an option of home / hybrid working and flexible working hours.

The Associate Structural Engineer will ensure works are constructed in accordance with the Employer's Representative's requirements and that the Contractor carries out all obligations.

The Associate Structural Engineers essential criteria shall be inclusive of the following.
- A degree in Structural Engineering.
- Demonstrable buildings focused structural engineering design.
- Strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience of undertaking steel and concrete design to Eurocodes.
- Membership of a professional institution.
- Experience working on teams on structural projects.
- Ability to quickly develop successful relationships with architects and contractors.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
The Associate Structural Engineers desirable criteria should comply with the following.
- Design experience in the UK / Irish Construction market.
- A master's degree in Structural Engineering.
- 8 - 10 years structural design experiences in a consultancy working on building-related projects with a knowledge and experience of structural design in accordance with Euro codes.
- IT skills with the use of Structural Engineering design software such as AutoCAD, BIM, Revit and Robot.
- Approaching Chartered or has Chartered status.
