Career-Track Professor in Civil & Environmental Engineering

 

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Washington State University has an opening for a non-tenure track (Career-Track) Professor of Practice position in the area of structural engineering, materials, and sustainability.  This is a temporary position which may be renewed depending on performance and funding availability. Candidates with expertise in the areas of structural engineering, earthquake engineering, and design of buildings and bridges are invited to apply. Preferred candidates should have demonstrated experience in professional practice, experience in the design of timber, reinforced concrete, masonry, and/or steel structures, and Professional Engineering licensure.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have a M.S. degree at a minimum, with doctoral degree preferred, in Civil or Architectural engineering. Successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses pertaining to structural engineering and contribute to the teaching mission of the CEE department. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
